Meagan Smith of Gainesville will serve as treasurer. She is a rising junior majoring in marketing.
Other officers are Hillary Rhodes of Calhoun, Alan Samson of Woodbine and Deandra Washington of Decatur.
SUSAA is made up of Shorter University students who represent the student body, communicating to the university’s Alumni Governing Board the opportunities they feel alumni can engage in to improve the Shorter experience. SUSAA works to create opportunities to connect students and alumni for fellowship and career networking. The group also works to put together events and networking opportunities for current Shorter students.
