Centennial Elementary School won the district competition of the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl in January and the North East Georgia Regional Competition in February at North Hall Middle School. Team members were: Marisa Woo, Ben Jessup, Wiley Hickerson, Allison Vandiver, Connor Kiesel, Jocelyn Nguyen, Amy Nguyen, James Michael Harrison, Simone Stuart and Eli Parrish. Kathy Anglin, the media specialist, was the head coach with assistants being Kelly Kennedy and Dallas Thompson.
