Brittany Lee of Gainesville was recently initiated into the honor society Phi Kappa Phi at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Lee is among about 32,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into the society each year. Membership is by invitation and requires nomination and approval by a chapter along with being in the top 10 percent of seniors or top 7.5 percent of juniors and having at least 72 semester hours.
