Anna Bower, a 2009 North Hall High School graduate and 2013 graduate of Furman University, has been awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student Program Scholarship to Turkey for an English teaching assistantship, the U.S. Department of State and the William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board announced recently. Bower is the daughter of Maria and Tom Bower and the younger sister of Haley and Caroline Bower. Bower has been placed at Anadolu University in Eskisehir, Turkey.
