Chris and Ann Turner of Braselton announce the engagement of their daughter Laura Ann Turner to Jason Ray Greathouse, son of Randy and Barbara Greathouse of Braselton.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Rosie Elliott of Gainesville, the late Clyde Elliott, Jean Turner of Decatur and the late Russell Turner Jr. She is the great-granddaughter of Mary Swain of Gainesville.

She is a 2004 graduate of Jackson County High School in Jefferson. She is attending Georgia Southern University in Statesboro pursuing a degree in accounting. She is a member of Beta Alpha Psi Honor Accounting fraternity; Omicron Delta Kappa Honor Society, the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life .

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late James and Maude Greathouse, Alice Everson of Braselton and the late Chloris Everson.

He is a 2001 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. He is attending Gainesville College in Oakwood. He is employed as a machine operator with Multicell Packaging Inc. in Lawrenceville.

The couple plans to wed June 21, 2008 at the Payne-Corley House in Duluth.
