Doug and Sharon Turk of Gillsville announce the engagement of their daughter Jessie Clarice Turk to Jason Andrew Bland, son of Gini Bland of Athens and William Bland Jr. of Sylvania. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Felton and Blanch Turk, and the late Frank and Florine Barfield. She is a 2006 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville.
