Mike and Becky Tomlin of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer Michelle Tomlin to Christopher Keene Flynt, son of Ted and Judy Flynt of Dahlonega.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bill Tomlin of Gainesville, the late Hilda Tomlin and Ken and Bea Smith of Independence, Ky.

She is a 1999 graduate of Johnson High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2004 from Gainesville State College in Oakwood with an associate degree in science. She is pursing a nursing degree at Breanu University in Gainesville. She is employed as a cardiovascular technician with Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Hoyt and Mary Robinson of Dahlonega and Jackie Northington of Milledgeville.

He is a 2001 graduate of Lumpkin County High School in Dahlonega. He is employed by Ted Flynt Plumbing in Dahlonega.

The couple plan to wed July 17, 2009, in Jamaica.
