James Ronald and Kendall Newton Thompson of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Lindsey Lauchlin Thompson to Mark Thomas Wiles, son of Henry and Cynthia Wiles of Evans. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late G. David “Bear” Newton Jr., the late Barbara H. Newton, and the late James and Ruth Thompson. She is a 2003 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville.
