Chris and Cindy Thompson of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Hope Thompson to Zachery Jordan McClain, son of Stanley and Debbie Stephens of Gainesville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dick and Judy Mecum of Gainesville, Scott and Linda Strickland of Gainesville, and Roland and Jan Shackelford of Monticello. She is a 2007 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville.
