Frankie and Crystal Teasley of Hartwell announce the engagement of their daughter Hillary Madge Teasley to James Young Wilhoite III, son of Jim and Vicki Wilhoite of Gainesville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Bruce and Barbara Crittenden of Hartwell, and the late John and Ruby Teasley.
She is a 2009 graduate of Hart County High School in Hartwell. She graduated in 2014 from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, where she is currently pursuing a master’s degree in early childhood and special education. She is employed as a first-grade teacher by Gainesville City Schools in Gainesville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Richard and Janet Williams of Clermont, Faye Vandiver of Columbia, Tenn., and the late Ray Vandiver, and the late J.Y. Wilhoite.
He is a 2008 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 2013 from the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega with a degree in business administration. He is employed as a project manager by Carroll Daniel Construction Company in Gainesville.
The couple plan to wed Oct. 3, 2015, at Sardis Baptist Church in Hartwell.
