Glenn and Penny Sims of Gillsville announce the engagement of their daughter Amy LeAnn Sims to Kevin Mason Kesler, son of Ronnie and Tammy Kesler of Nicholson.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the Rev. Robert and Betty Freeman of Cleveland, and George and Joann Sims of Gillsville.

She is a 2010 graduate of Banks County High School in Homer. She graduated in 2014 from Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Claudine Kesler of Nicholson and the late James Kesler.

He is a 2010 graduate of East Jackson High School in Commerce. He graduated in 2014 from Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.

The couple plan to wed Oct. 11, 2014, at Densmore Farm in Cleveland.
