Danny and Mandy Roper of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Shaye Lindsey Roper to Jonathan Chase Wales, son of Eric and Dawn Wales of Gainesville. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Van and Lula Bella Ingram, and Dennis and Marcile Roper of Gainesville and the late Ella Roper. She is a 2010 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville.
