Ronald C. and Patty Nix Roberts of Maysville announce the engagement of their daughter Keri Ann Roberts to Matthew John Turner, son of John Wesley and Bonnie Marie Turner of Lula.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jewel and Annie Mae Nix of Maysville and William A. and Ruby Roberts of Latrobe, Pa.

She is a 2003 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2006 from Gainesville State College in Oakwood with an associate degree in early childhood education. She received her master cosmetology license from Academy of Beauty in Gainesville. She is employed as a stylist with American Salon and Spa in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Jessie Mae Smith and the late Wesley and Nancy Turner.

He is a 2001 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 2005 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in business management. He received a master's degree at North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega. He is employed as a teacher in the Hall County School System in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed June 11, 2011, at Hardeman Sams House in Athens.
