Lisa and Uwe Redington of Evans announce the engagement of their daughter, Renee Michelle Redington to Seth Robert Peek, son of Becky and Robert Peek of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Lois and the late Arthur Miller of Montgomery, Ala., and Margaret Redington of Germany.

She is a 2007 graduate of Lakeside High School in Evans. She graduated in 2011 from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial and systems engineering. She is employed as a business improvement senior consultant at Turner Broadcasting Systems Inc. in Atlanta.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Judy and J.N. Harrison, Marvin and Helen Peek of Gainesville and Linda and the late R.C. Elrod of Lula.

He is a 2007 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 2012 from Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering. He is employed as a project engineer at Eberly & Associates Inc. in Atlanta.

The couple plan to wed Sept. 16, 2017, at Primrose Cottage in Roswell.
