Eddie and Debbie Puckett of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Misty Brooke Puckett to Nathan Christopher Brown, son of Janet Brown of Gainesville and Steve Brown of Alpharetta.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Howell and Audrey Thomas of Gainesville, Harold Puckett of Buford and the late Doris Puckett.

She is a 2004 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. She attended North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega. She graduated in 2008 from Lanier Technical College in Oakwood. She is employed as a radiologic technologist and mammography technologist with Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Joel and Ruby Massey and the late Joe and Ruby Brown.

He was home schooled in Gainesville and graduated in 2004. He is employed as a supervisor with Jake Martin & Son Contractors Inc., in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed June 4, 2011, at The Smithgall Arts Center in Gainesville.
