Jeff and Angie Parker of Flowery Branch announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Marie Parker to Brett Joseph Croker, son of Mike and Chris Croker of Buford.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jim Tankersley, Shirley Tankersley and Richard B. and Johnnie Parker, all of Gainesville.

She is a 2002 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She graduated in 2006 from Piedmont College in Demorest with a bachelor's degree in biology. She received a master's degree at South University in Savannah in physician's assistant studies. She is employed as a physician's assistant with Northeast Georgia Physicians Group, Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Betty Croker of Dacula and the late Joseph and Helen Martin.

He is a 2001 graduate of Dacula High School in Dacula. He graduated in 2005 from The University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in business administration. He is employed as a manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP in Atlanta.

The couple plan to wed May 14, 2011, at First Presbyterian Church in Gainesville.
