Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Osborne of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Ms. Jennifer Leigh Osborne to Mr. Micheal R. Jamison Jr., son of Mr. Micheal Jamison and Dr. JoEllen Dattilo of Marietta.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Patton of Gainesville, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Osborne.

She is a 2005 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2009 from Mercer University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is employed as a customer care representative by SimplexGrinnell in Macon.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Dattilo and the late Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jamison.

He is a 2003 graduate of Marietta High School in Marietta. He graduated in 2008 from Mercer University with a bachelor’s degree in political science. He received his master’s degree in public administration from the University of Georgia in Athens. He is employed as a business analyst by Hodges, Harbin, Newberry & Tribble in Macon.

The couple plan to wed May 17, 2014, at Newton Chapel at Mercer University in Macon.
