Mrs. Helen Scovill and Mr. Jay Scovill of Gainesville and Mr. Marion Meeks Jr. of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Jennifer Dail Meeks to Dr. Daniel Ashley Mullis, son of Mrs. Linda Mullis of Rome and the late Dr. Kenneth Mullis. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Dail Laughinghouse Jr. of Greenville, N.C.; Mrs. Bennie Stone Larj of Spartanburg, S.C. and Mr. Marion Meeks Sr. of Lexington, Mass. She is a 2003 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville.
