Keith and Linda McGinnis of Nicholson announce the engagement of their daughter Victoria Elyse McGinnis to Ryne Andrew Williams, son of Deborah Williams of Nicholson and James "Bouncer" and Shelia Williams of Chestnut Mountain.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dorothy Lewis of Maysville, the late Regis Lewis and the late Hoyt and Rilla McGinnis.

She is a 2008 graduate of East Jackson Comprehensive High School in Commerce. She graduated in 2010 from Lanier Technical College in Oakwood with a degree in cosmetology. She is employed with The University of Georgia in Athens.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Lamar Thaxton of Nicholson, the late Audrey Thaxton and the late Allen and Bertha Williams.

He is a 2006 graduate of Jackson County Comprehensive High School in Jefferson. He is employed as a track worker with CSX Railroad in Social Circle.

The couple plan to wed May 7, 2011, at Walco Farms in Lula.
