David and Angie McClure of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Danielle McClure to Clayton Justice Santiago, son of Richard and Rebecca Santiago of Tyrone.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Herb and Mary McClure of Cleveland, Martha Askew of Gainesville and the late Edith and Emory Sims.

She is a 2001 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2007 from Brenau University in Gainesville with a bachelor's degree in business management. She is employed as an accountant with Unisia Steering Systems in Oakwood.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Sam and Aileen Hughes of Martinsville, Va., the late Robert Johnston, Hermine Santiago of Columbia, S.C., and the late Jose Santiago.

He is a 1994 graduate of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone. He graduated in 1999 from North Georgia College & State University with a bachelor's degree in art marketing. He is employed as a teacher with Lakeview Academy in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed in the spring of 2009.
