Hoa and Thung Mach of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Tuquyen Vu Mach to Benny Wai-Yin Yee, son of Peter and Sharon Yee of Fayetteville and the late Lisa Yee.

The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of West Hall High School in Oakwood. She graduated in 2005 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in broadcast news. She is employed as a reporter with WSAV-TV in Savannah. She is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association, the American Cancer Society and the University of Georgia Alumni Association.

The groom-elect is a 2000 graduate of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone. He graduated in 2005 from the University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree and master's degree in accounting. He graduated in 2009 with a doctorate of jurisprudence from the University of Georgia School of Law in Athens. He plans to work as a law clerk with the Federal Court in Savannah this fall.

The couple plan to wed June 27, 2009, with a traditional Vietnamese ceremony at the Mach's residence in Gainesville and an American ceremony at Piedmont Park in Atlanta.
