Sandy and Robert Mallon and Gary W. and Sharon Hutchins, all of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Callie Marie Hutchins to Tyler Wesley Sims, son of Don and Becky Sims of Gainesville.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Joannie Smith of Franklin, Tenn., the late Daniel Smith, Glenn and Judy Hutchins of Seymour, Tenn., Martha Roso of Louisville, Ky., and the late Julius Roso.

She is a 2005 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2010 from The University of Georgia in Athens with a bachelor's degree in business. She is employed with CRNA Associates PC in Chattanooga, Tenn.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Betty Sims of Gainesville and the late George and Dessie Allison.

He is a 2004 graduate of Chestatee High School in Gainesville. He is pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing and sales from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in Chattanooga. He is employed as an orthopedic sales distributor with Arthrex in Chattanooga. The couple plan to wed May 7, 2011, at the residence of Greg and Lynn Syfan in Gainesville.
