Mr. and Mrs. George Anthony Hokayem of Gainesville announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Jessica “Jessa” Lauren Hokayem to Mr. William “Will” Curtis Wright Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs. William Curtis Wright of Evans.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Louise Dorn Benner of Raleigh, N.C., and the late Mr. Joseph Abner Benner Jr., and Mrs. Beatrice Louis Hokayem of Gainesville and the late Mr. Joseph Milad Hokayem.
She is a 2007 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2012 from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s degree in dietetics. She is employed by e2 events management company in Richmond, Va.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Henry Baugh Jr., and the late Mr. and Mrs. George William Wright.
He is a 2007 graduate of Augusta Christian Schools in Martinez. He graduated in 2011 from Furman University with a bachelor’s degree in math and economics. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in urban and regional planning at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is employed as a teaching assistant in the undergraduate political science department of Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va.
The couple plan to wed June 21, 2014, at Ashford Manor in Watkinsville.
