Clyde and Cathy McKinney of Woodstock, Md., and John and Sandra Heisch of Arnold, Md., announce the engagement of their daughter Laura Ann Heisch to Brandon Lee Smith, son of George and Becky Smith of Gainesville. She is a 2004 graduate of Liberty High School in Eldersburg, Md. She graduated in 2008 from Elon University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology.
