The groom-elect is the grandson of Roberto Martinez of Balch Springs, Texas, and the late Manuela Martinez, and Amelia Rodriguez of Allende, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and the late Ramon Rodriguez.
He is a graduate of Seagoville High School in Seagoville, Texas.
