Tammy and Martin Craven of Bonneau, S.C., and Gary Cate of Lawrenceville announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Marie Cate to Robert Troy Beauchamp, son of Kathy Jaynes Beauchamp of Gainesville and the late Bob Beauchamp.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Joan Cate of Lawrenceville, Linda White of Charleston, S.C., and the late Frank White.

She is a 1999 graduate of Gainesville High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2004 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She is employed as a human resources manager with Terra Resort Group in Jackson, Wyo.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late George and Evelyn Beauchamp and the late Bill and Kate Jaynes.

He is a 1990 graduate of North Hall High School in Gainesville. He graduated in 1994 from Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn., with a bachelor's degree in communications. He is employed as a producer/cameraman with Akita Productions Inc. in Gainesville and in Jackson Hole, Wyo.

The couple plan to wed Sept. 3, 2010, at Schwabacher's Landing in Moose, Wyo.
