Troy Steven and Michele Ryals Cain of Gillsville announce the engagement of their daughter Erica Michele Cain to Nicholas Seth Deaton, son of Michelle and Bryan Thomas of Lula.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Connie Draineof Lula, Dwight Ryals of Whittier, N.C., and the late Carl and Evelyn Cain.

She is a 2010 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. She graduated in 2015 from Gainesville State College and Lanier Technical College with a degree in dental hygiene.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Linda Parker of Lula and the late Kenneth Parker.

He is a 2009 graduate of East Hall High School in Gainesville. He is employed as an HVAC estimator/assistant project manager at Condition Air System in Gainesville.

The couple plan to wed May 30, 2015, at Timber Ridge Baptist Church in Gainesville.
