Robert and Kathleen Bent of Huntsville, Ala., announce the engagement of their daughter Cathryn Marie Bent to Lee Koz, son of Merrilee Neale and Edward Koslowski, both of Tonawanda, N.Y.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Leonard Zametz of Youngstown, Ohio, the late Betty Zametz and the late Robert and Savannah Bent.
She is a 1999 graduate of Northside Christian High School in Dayton, Ohio. She graduated in 2004 from North Georgia College & State University in Dahlonega with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education. She is employed as a teacher with Sardis Elementary in Gainesville.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Melvin and Elanore Neale and the late Edward and Cheslava Koslowski.
He is a 1996 graduate of Grand Island Senior High School in Tonawanda. He graduated in 2003 from the University at Buffalo in Buffalo, N.Y., with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering. He received a master's degree at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va., in divinity. He is employed as an industrial engineer with Unisia Steering Systems in Flowery Branch.
The couple plan to wed Dec. 13, 2008, at Lakewood Baptist Church in Gainesville.
