Donald A. and LaVerne McClure of Lula celebrated their 50th anniversary on Aug. 20, 2010. A reception held in their honor at Lula United Methodist Church in Lula was given by their family.

The couple have two children LaDonna McDougle and Todd McClure, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
