Joe and Virginia Lynch of Gainesville celebrated their 60th anniversary on Nov. 11, 2007. A reception held in their honor at The Best Western Lanier Centre in Gainesville was given by their children. Numerous family and friends attended.
Virginia said she wants Joe to know he has been a good husband for more than 60 years and in this day and age that is an accomplishment. Virginia retired after 23 years of employment with Sears Roebuck & Co. Joe retired after 22 years employment with AT&T and 28 years in law enforcement.The couple have four children, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
