JD and Virginia Loggins of Gainesville celebrated their 71st anniversary on Oct. 26, 2012. A reception held in their honor at Yonah Fellowship Hall was given by their children. The couple have four children, Margaret Thomas, Eloise Thomas, Elaine Turpin and Ken Loggins, 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
