Safety, learning in sights as 4-H kids take on law officers in annual target challenge

Responsible gun ownership and safety were the focus Saturday at the 13th annual Hall County 4-H Cops and Kids Target Challenge at Chicopee Woods Agricultural Center. Officers from both the Hall County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Gainesville Police Department joined 11 members of the 4-H Shooting Awareness Fun and Education (S.A.F.E.) BB Rifle Team for a day of friendly competition and learning.
