The Northeast Georgia Arts Tour Holiday Road Open House Weekend takes place Nov. 11-13.

Explore North Georgia while taking in live demonstrations by local artists.

At various stops along the route, artisans will be working on their crafts and selling their wares. It's a good chance to get a jump on your Christmas list.

This self-guided driving and walking tour will take you through Habersham, Rabun, White and Lumpkin counties. Meet more than 100 painters, potters, jewelry makers, wood turners, fiber artists, photographers and other artisans and find the best places to dine and lodge.

Register to win prizes, such as theater tickets, restaurant gift certificates and an original oil painting at all tour stops.

The tour makes for a great day trip or weekend getaway.

And the best part about the tour? Supporting local arts and local commerce. From wineries to galleries, North Georgia has a lot to offer those willing to get out and experience it.
