Eight days before the nation’s birthday, a full-size orchestra may get residents in the celebratory spirit with its Patriotic Pops concert.

The Toccoa Symphony Orchestra will perform its fifth annual concert at 7 p.m. Sunday, June 26, at the Currahee Club at 1 Currahee Club Way in Toccoa. Gates open at 5 p.m., rain or shine.

The orchestra will play uplifting and inspiring patriotic music on the back lawn of the Currahee Club overlooking Lake Hartwell. Concert attendees may bring their own chair or blanket to listen to the music. Handicap seating is available.

A light picnic dinner will be prepared by the Clubs Chef. A vegetarian meal option is available as well.

Tickets are $25 per person includes a light picnic dinner and water. A cash bar is available for additional beverages.
