The community is invited to register for the tour, now in its second year. It is the perfect opportunity to relax on the lake, while learning great information from environmental experts. Registration is limited to 45 people.

Passengers will learn about the lake’s history, uses and current water quality, as well as issues that directly impact Lake Lanier and the Chattahoochee River. Participants also will learn how to take quality water samples.

Sally Bethea, CRKs executive director and riverkeeper, and Jason Ulseth, CRKs technical programs director, will lead the tour. This will be the last Lake Lanier tour led by Bethea as riverkeeper before she retires at the end of the year.
