Swamp Lily to be shown Aug. 5-7 in Sautee Nacoochee

“Swamp Lily” will be performed at 7 p.m. Aug. 5 and 6 and 3 p.m. Aug. 7 at 283 Ga. 255 N in Sautee Nacoochee.

Eugenia Clarkson believes she has had a full and multifaceted life filled with sorrow and loss as well as happiness and blessing. But now, she thinks it’s time settle into the final, mundane stage of her existence.

Little does Clarkson know that new surprises always are waiting just around the corner.

To see outcome of the play set in the South between 1940 and 2012, head to the Sautee Nacoochee Center to watch the drama play out in “Swamp Lily.”

Based in Murrayville, Blue Palm Productions will present the original drama at 283 Ga. 255 N in Sautee Nacoochee. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Aug. 5 and 6 and 3 p.m. Aug. 7 in the center’s theater.
