Yoga, long acknowledged as a valuable tool for achieving optimal health and well-being, will bring its breathing and meditation exercises to the Helen Arts & Heritage facility this month. Instructor Christy Thacker will teach beginning, intermediate and advance students the way to strengthen the body’s core, increase flexibility and quiet the mind during morning classes. The class will be from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays and Fridays upstairs in the Helen Arts & Heritage Center, 25 Chattahoochee Strasse, in Helen.
