Debbie Weston From grew up listening to her favorite storytellers — her family.

Now the woman is a professional storyteller and is bringing her latest production to Northeast Georgia.

The “Mamalogs” is a collection of adult-themed monologues based on interviews, stories and personal experiences that reflect a few perspectives on the varying vastness of parenting and life. With special guests, Tracy Walker and Hannah Sage, From will deliver the performance at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, at the Sautee Nacoochee Community Association center theater.

It is a pass-the-hat event, but reservations are encouraged. Child care is free.

The show is not recommended for individuals 17 years old and younger because of the adult language and content.

From has been telling stories professionally since 2005. She received her Master of Arts in Storytelling from East Tennessee State University in 2011. She shares stories at various regional festivals, libraries, schools and venues.
