The fourth annual St. Patrick’s Day Snake Celebration will be from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, March 15, at Bear Hollow Zoo in Athens. St. Patrick supposedly drove all the snakes from Ireland, so Bear Hollow staff will talk about all things “snake” at this celebration. Participants will learn facts about snake species, dispel a few myths and encounter live snakes, too.
