Sounds of a stringed instrument will loft through the air once again as the First Friday Music Pickin’ of the season begins in Sautee.

The family- and dog-friendly event will be from 6-9 p.m. Friday, May 2, in the pavilion at Sautee Village Park adjacent to InsideOut Sautee, 2454 Ga. 17, in Sautee Nacoochee.

Local musicians gather to entertain an audience with acoustic music. Visitors may bring a chair to listen or an instrument to play. Refreshments available.

Proceeds go to the Charles Smithgall Humane Society and Animal Shelter.

First Friday Music Pickin’ will continue on the first Fridays of the month from May to October each year.
