"Broken Tree" is among the prints that will be featured in an exhibit at Piedmont College through March 31.

Large-format prints by Scott Stephens will be on display at the Piedmont College Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art through March 31.

Stephens earned his BFA at Washington University in St. Louis. He began his graduate work at the School of Art Institute of Chicago and completed his MFA at the University of Alabama in 1983.

Stephens specializes in large format prints, which have been seen in more than 100 exhibitions nationally.

"Nature Viewed" includes views of the natural world taken from what he calls "altered environments."

The images are created with the combination of printmaking, photomechanical techniques and digital techniques.

A reception for the show will be held at 6 p.m. March 22 in the museum located on Georgia Street in downtown Demorest.
