Race to raise funds for Rock Goodbye Angel

Parents who have suffered the loss of a child will actually be encouraged to run away one Saturday morning.

The Pink and Blue Dash 5K will be Saturday, Nov. 5, at the American Legion at 2343 Riverside Drive in Gainesville. Registration will be from 7:45-8:15 a.m. with race starting at 8:30 a.m.

Awards will immediately follow the race. Awards will be given for overall male/female winners and top three male/female in each age category.

The race will raise funds for Rock Goodbye Angel, a nonprofit group dedicated to families mourning the loss of a child. The nonprofit offers bereavement support, pastoral grief counseling and support groups to parents in Hall and Gwinnett county areas.

All proceeds will benefit Rock Goodbye Angel, Inc., a charity supporting families of pregnancy loss and early infant loss.
