2002 National Scottish Fiddle Champion Jamie Laval will join forces with Roger Gold to entertain dancers of all ages at two dances this weekend in Gainesville. The first will be the free Sweet Swing and Waltz Dance from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Northeast Georgia School of Music & Dance at 123 Green St. The second will be the monthly contra dance with calling by Deanna Palumbo from 8-11 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 751 Green St., Gainesville. A lesson will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center.
