Hearing the acoustic sounds of a six-string instrument will filter through the air at InsideOut Sautee during its First Friday Music Pickin’ this weekend.

The event is filled with music, food and fun as local musicians jam on their guitars before an audience at 2454-A Ga. 17 in Sautee Nacoochee. The free concert is from 6-9 p.m. July 3. Other performances will be on Aug. 7, Sept. 4 and Oct. 2.

Donations will be accepted for the Charles Smithgall Humane Society and Adoption Center at a special dessert booth set up in the park. Handicapped parking and parking for musicians is available around the back of InsideOut.

Spectators are invited to bring a chair and listen to the music. Visitors to the area also may taste the food at Sheilah’s Village Market.
