Internationally renowned pianist Arriale begins the series. She blends thoughtfully sculpted original tunes with a sprinkling of cover versions, with selections ranging from ballads to Latin pieces and up-tempo performances. It will be her fourth season in the Gainesville series.
Christopher, hailing from New Orleans, has worked with musicians such as Al Hirt and veterans of Preservation Hall to funk and brass bands. He is a member of the Grammy-winning New Orleans Jazz Orchestra.
Gordon is acclaimed as one of the top trombonists of his generation. Jazz Journalists Association named him "Trombonist of the Year" six times in the last 10 years, and he is a past recipient of the ASCAP Foundation Vanguard Award.
Del Baroni, originally from Florida, has been busy in the Atlanta music scene since 1987, and will be accompanied by vocalist Jennifer Hanson and pianist Jez Graham.
Georgia's own Barker has performed or recorded with Charles Glenn, the U.S. Army Band, the Glenn Miller Band, Tom Kennedy, Theo Peoples, Peter Meyer, The Drifters and numerous others. Since moving to Georgia in 2006, Barker has performed with Atlanta Acoustic Jazz, Atlanta Beat, Sam Skelton, Ken Watters and the Sweet Lu Quartet.
