National Ballet of Bulgaria Prima Ballerina Darina Bedeva will perform the pas de deux from the ballet “Carmen” on Friday at the Brenau Downtown Center. It is part of the International Ballet Summer Intensive Program at Brenau University.

Original ballet work set to the harmonious music of Franz Shubert followed by the grand pas of Tchaikovsky’s heart wrenching Swan Lake will grace the Brenau Downtown Center stage this weekend.

The International Ballet Summer Intensive Program participants will dance at 7 p.m. Friday, July 24, at 301 Main St., Gainesville.
