In recognition of the 200-year anniversary of the end of the War of 1812, the Northeast Georgia History Center will focus its Family Day events on the life and times of soldiers of the era. Family Day activities will be 1-4 p.m. Sunday, March 9, at 22 Academy St. NE in Gainesville. Admission is free.
