The memorable musical following students at New York’s School of the Performing Arts through their four years will appear on the Gainesville High School theater for the first time.

The GHS thespians will stage “Fame,” portraying high schoolers coming to terms with life. The show runs the gamut in music from classical to rap and dance going from ballet through modern to hip-hop.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28 through March 2 at 830 Century Place in Gainesville.

Tickets are $5 for students and seniors 65 and older and $8 for adults. Only cash is accepted.

Tickets only can be requested via email at ghstheatre@bellsouth.net. Requirements are the number of tickets, the name of the ticketholder and the day and date of tickets.

Ticketholders must pay for the number of tickets requested.
