‘Cinderella’

An evil stepmother, two jealous stepsisters, one fairy godmother, a prince and one woman transforming from rags to riches are the characters at the center of the upcoming musical “Cinderella.”
Gainesville High School students will recreate this tale based on the 2013 Broadway revival. In the story, Cinderella stands no chance of attending the Royal ball. However, her fairy godmother appears and magically turns her clothing into a beautiful gown and sends her to the ball. Once she enchants the Prince Charming, she faces the wrath of her stepmother and two sisters when the spell wears off at midnight.
Showtimes will be at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6-8 in the Pam Ware Performing Arts Center at 830 Century Place in Gainesville.
Tickets are $5 for students and seniors 65 and older and $8 for adults. Only cash is accepted.
Tickets must be requested ahead of time by emailing ghstheatre@bellsouth.net with the following information:
The number of student, senior citizen or adult tickets.
The first and last name of the ticketholder.
The date and day of tickets.
Tickets may be picked up the night of the show. The box office opens at 6:30 p.m. Ticketholder will have to pay for the number of tickets requested.
