Cars and trucks, similar to these, will roll into Laurel Park for the inaugural Hall County Sheriff’s Office automobile show. The car, truck and motorcycle show will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at 3100 Old Cleveland Highway in Gainesville.

Lovers of two- and four-wheeled vehicles will be in hog heaven Saturday as many motorists roll their prized automobiles into town for a car show.

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office is hosting its inaugural car, truck and motorcycle show at 10 a.m. Aug. 1 at Laurel Park, 3100 Old Cleveland Highway, in Gainesville.

All rods, mods and odds as well as car clubs and groups are encouraged to attend and participate. Trophies will be presented for the peoples’ choice of best car, truck and motorcycle as well as “The Sheriff’s Choice Award” and most unique.

Registration is $25 per entry. Forms are available at the Hall County Sheriff’s Office, 610 Main St. in Gainesville.

The event is free to attend. However, having a little pocket change may come in handy for concessions. A money tree, 50/50 drawing, silent auction, music and bounce houses will be on site.

Proceeds will benefit the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Christmas Bicycle Program.
